Breaking the greasable u joints, wimpy 72xx series cast yoke, and destroying the motor mounts are precisely why most unmolested 4 speed cars have a lakewood driveshaft loop, lakewood non greasable u joints, and a set of solid steel moroso motor mounts in them. Defacto equipment for a manual trans car with sticky tires and an aggressive (ie street friendly) clutch disc. Maybe try to launch it more towards where the enginemakes peak torque and count one two as you let the clutch out vs the side step & ca-changa routine. When the car starts to bite stand on it. my experience is that you break more stuff launching belowmpeak tq. on a setup like this.
