I dont have pics of the accident site, but I have pics of the aftermath on the mower. I work for my state DOT and we come across wrecks all the time to either do recovery for heavy equipment or to assist the law enforcement agencies.
What we have here is a 5083 john deere boom mower that had 70hrs on it.. less than 30 days old and 15 of those hours were demonstration hours!!! He was heading north on a local state highway and a lady in a dodge caravan (see mopar related hehe) came up behind him (while talking on her cellphone) misjudged the distance and speed, swerved, lost control and ran into the tractor's driver's side rear.
The collision caused the tractor to flip over (forward) on its top and land in the ditch. You can see the extent of the damage. The caravan (sorry dont have pics of the van) had its front clip waxed, but was actually in good shape considering.
Both people are alive, the lady due to the caravan's safety and the guy in the tractor due to sheer luck (he was not wearing his seatbelt).
enjoy.
