Bought a 70

It needs a new thread, or maybe a series of tutorials.

"A little off the junk in the trunk please"

As a side note you can charge for the tutorials. Can I say I know of a significant other that routinely pays for online horse training courses.

Back to our regularly scheduled program.

Got the front suspension and k-krame out today. I have done a lot of front ends over the years and this one fought me the most. I still have a ball joint stuck to one lower control arm. No heat, beating, pickle fork would budge it. I will deal with that later.

Really just a bunch of little things left.

Oh man, been there, done that! My last car to work on came from far out a west Texas desert and it was a total pita!!
 
I'll see if I can save the under hood black out patina....... maybe clear over it Gas Monkey style
 
AMK for the win on the nuts. The engine compartment is stripped, all brake and fuel lines out. Now to figure out what holes don't belong.

The jagged looking ones used to hold a captive nut for the battery tray, I think the center round one is the drain from the tray. Someones got to fix that.

Looking for pics of an original AC engine compartment. Firewall is good, only questions I have are on the top right inner fender.

Here is the right inner fender top. I labeled what I think is correct. The one above the shock tower is the question. Maybe bracket for heater hoses? Or was that used on an AC car?

mornin' peepes!......... Jeff, I can't help with any A/C car questions; I had an A/C parts car here a few years ago, but it's gone........ @Charles Cook will have to step up :poke:
