My Sunday score. Fresh 66 383, has 906 heads. Mopar Intake, new dist, wires, plugs, 933 pan and looks like a composite gasket/windage pan combo. Also got a like new 800 CFM AVS2, Hooker Competition Headers, and a new engine stand. All for ....... $1800

I will get a gasket set and pull the heads, oil pan and check it out as the guy did not know much about it.

I have a standard 383 HP block I was thinking 438 stroker with it. This deal gives me options to run now build later. We will see.

After having built a 416 stroker out of a 340 and rebuilding a 500 stroker out of a 400 I am a huge fan of stroker motors. These engines have been some of the most torquey, fun street engines I have ever had. Mind you, they cost a few bucks to build but if you can swing it I highly recommend!
