I heard that Cliff has seagulls flying around his head all the time, any truth to that?
:rofl::rofl: ...well he does live about 2 miles from a famous surf beach....:D

Here's a Duster that my buddy Rod restored a few years ago, and was briefly at Cliff's place for a show.

Cheap *** cars that usually made it to 100k without many problems. Well, at least my 87 Shadow did. Those were during some dark days in the auto industry for sure. Head gaskets on the 2.2 non turbo were usually good for 100k. Yup, not exactly the better cars of ChryCo but that little 2.2 wasn't all that bad either....especially when you compare it with something like GM's pos Vega! GM also had plenty of cars that were junk right off the assembly line. The K car saved Chrysler from extinction too.

I've posted this before, but does anyone remember at Carlisle probably 5 - 7 years ago there was a rusty green Dart /6.
It was built by a younger guy (20's), had a home built fuel injection, and was turbocharged. It went on the dyno there, the sound was incredible, and embarrassed a LOT of high dollar cars.
I can't remember what the numbers were, but jaws dropped. Does anyone else remember?
What happened to this guy, or car?

The “Energizer Bunny” of car engines … it keeps going and going and going!

The slant six is one my favorite engines. I am on fabo currently with a hyper-pak build.

I'm building a 225 with the hyper-pak. That's not totally correct since the original hyper-paks were all 170 c.i. It created a throttle linkage problem since the 225 has a raised deck but I'm currently getting the car ready for paint this winter.
