BS on changing tire alignment specs from stock.

Come on, you know what I mean. There absolutely IS a "wrong" way to set up Mopar suspension - enough that it's so skittish that any lapse of concentration will put you in a ditch.

That's the type of alignment that my '69 Valiant had on it when I got it. The seller was "happy" with it that way. It was definitely that ditch car.

No disagreement on the rest.

yes i drove cars like that new and old because the alignment was not close to factory specs or worn parts. I don't think anyone on this thread or reading this thread would think a car like the way you first got your valiant would be happy with it that way.

Agreed. Problem is, you can't fix stupid, and there are definitely others out there who will think nothing of the nose-in-the-air and positive camber out the wazoo

When all the"cool 2-doors were affordable, one could have an excuse for passing on the more doors. These days, one finds merits in whatever is still affordable.

One has to consider themselves lucky to find a decent more door for the last 10-20 years too. Plus, every seller today seems to think that rust and gold have an equal value per ounce.
