Gotta say I've been going to a lot of local car shows and Mopars are in short supply. Only seen a few RR's, couple of Barracudas, 1 GTX, 2 Challenger's, 0 Chargers, 0 Super Bees. Why the lack of them?

Around the mopar homeland...there are plenty. There had to be 10-15% mopars at the Ford-plant show, yesterday.

I'm South of the boarder from you, and at the big shows, your number is right in my view. But the smaller shows, I'm likely to see two maybe....

Not too many smart people out there any more. LOL You need to bring your own crew. Here's a bunch of us yesterday.

Cost maybe a big factor. Availability of parts. Does not take to long on this site to find the answer.

I would say cost. 20k will get you a SS Chevelle or Fastback Mustang. 30k is the entry level for Super Bee, 40k for a GTX. They can have their Chevy and Fords I stick to B Bodies.

I get real disappointed at most of the shows, when I'm the only Plymouth there. Then you see a fine example of a Mopar Rod, you walk over, you look and see that 350 sitting in there. Its just nicer to be amongst mopar enthusiasts, just got back Saturday from the Dallas Mopar Club event. Good Folks.....

Owning Mopars is a passion, not that the other brand guys aren't passionate. I don't like to be a cookie cutter. I like to be different. Anybody can own a Chevy but a special kind of person owns a Mopar. My opinion of course! lol

Lower production numbers.
Higher initial cost to purchase.
Cost of parts to do a Mopar relative to others keep many out of the market.
Many high dollar restoration and value cars (Hemi, 6bbl, wing) don't go to local shows.

There's a significant lack of A bodies relative to Mopar production.

Not a new thing. At the smaller cruise-ins I usually go to I may have the only Mopar there, although sometimes there are a bunch. It is even more noticeable at prewar car shows, very hard to find any teens to 30s mopar cars.

Leaving to go to local show. My brother was there an hour ago. Says only Mopars were a basic 69 Bee and an AAR Cuda. Will report back

When I do go just can not get over what some are trying to pass as factory original these days. I am not into conisour cars but the fake AARs, GTX,s and RTs seen to be all over the place and their owners non the wiser. Gave up long ago trying to explain to them they do not have what they think they have. So I go when the boys what to go and the cars stay at home. My cars all wear their original badges. Are they factory original no.

Everybody wants that rare car, unfortunately you and I Know there is not enough of them, I find it a bit boring, I want to see that Original Badged Car. Example of a car that is over built, the General Lee, an NO OFFENSE to you owners out there, as its been said build it like you want, just an example of a Mopar that's been over done in my book. Lots of Nice Chargers got that 01 on the side. Could be eye dropping good looking. At the show I attended this week, I saw plenty of tribute cars with the fender tags removed. I like the decoding for fun. I found myself glancing at them and then walking over to the bare bones, simple Ma Mopar's low budget muscle cars. It still where my heart is.

Mopars even lower numbers out West. Cars and coffee sometimes 5 out of 500. Unless you include modern Mopar.

Thanks Guys! Like others have said all I see are Camaros, Corvettes, GTO's, Mustangs...etc...
Tough to look for a car when Mopars are absent.

I never wanted a General Lee until Obama told me I couldn't have one. Lol

That's why it is important to go. On Saturday, I met up with the Camaro Club. The old tired Brute got more attention than the sea of Chevy's. Less is more. Also, for the elite crowd nothing beats the rumble of the mighty Big Block Mopar when compared to that annoying sound from the 12 cylinder million dollar Ferraros.

At the smaller shows there seems to be a Demon/ Duster , the occasional Dart, Scamp that show up... The B's are more rare in my area, you might see a Charger, or RR or GTX but they usually come in one at a time...
There are a couple of max wedge SS's that come out together every once and a while but nothing like shoe boxes, camaros, ta's, Chevelles, mustangs ect
