Carb size????

^^^^^^^^ Yeah, I had a guy tell me that my Edelbrock is no good because it is a emissions carb.
I asked "What makes it a emission carb ? His reply "It has a electric choke and a canister fitting for the bowl vent.
Plus they are different internal." "Really how so ?" " I just know they are."
A lot of people don’t know how to set an electric choke!!!!!!! Or anything but a manual!

Ok I handled it buddy of mine wanted the 750 eld so I sold it to him and bought the brawler 850 CFM for the charger !
No starving mopars around here

Very good!

IMO, get 1.6 rockers and get that valves up higher to take advantage of the heads ability to flow more air.

Car owners (the "guy") like the one noted above, should not be allowed to own a car. A classic example of the saying: "the lights are on but nobody is home". Sort of reminds me of a similar person I knew, who, had a great looking '55 Chev BelAire 2 dr ht..... immaculate car....the first time I saw it, i inquired what engine it had.....he said "a V8".....yes but Chevy engine.....265, 283, 327, 350, 400 small blocks, OR 396, 402, 427, 454 big block??? Answer: "its a V8" and NEVER opened the hood.....but went into detail about which WAX he was using......what a shame..... oh well, it takes all kinds.....

That’s a guy that just wanted what he saw and bought it to enjoy it. He’ll pay to have everything done but clean it. For him, that’s just fine. He has a bitchen car and loves it. That’s all that counts really. For me, he may not be my kind of car guy, the one that actually knows what’s going on, fixes and modifies it, but that’s OK too. He is a car guy. Just not the knowledgeable one on the mechanics of it all.

There is a group of "Car Guys" that meet for breakfast every Wednesday. The all buy their cars at Barrett/Jackson here in Vegas. Ever other year they take them back and sell, replacing with another auction find. Most are lucky that they know how/were to find the gas tank. All are Chevy's and Fords.
I went once and was treated poorly because I drove a Plymouth. They just sit around talking about guns and how much money they have.
Not my kind of car guys.

OUT OF CURIOSITY.....would you happen to know a guy that has three classic cars: '70 Chrysler Hurst 2 dr ht; '70 Chrysler 300 Hurst Convertible and a red '54 Ford Skyliner (glass top)? Not sure if he frequents the same gathering, but is active at many of the Vegas cruises but he attends several of the "breakfast" cruises. PM me if you know, my colleague.

Nice thing about Carter clone carbs is a gasket failure doesn't dump fuel all over the engine.
