Carlisle Nationals - First Timer

I’ve never been to Carlisle. I’ll bring one of the cars. Any tips? Is there preferred hotels to stay at or stay away from? I think I read to register as a FBBO member.

We have been going to that show since it first started, and for about the last 10 years we've been booking our rooms a year ahead. Best of luck finding a decent hotel at this point. When pre-registering, definitely use the FBBO club option.

I checked a few days ago, my hotel of choice still had a few rooms. Holiday Inn Express, Technology Parkway, Mechanicsburg. Most hotels fill up a year ahead. This one is a little further out so it fills up a little later. I'm cramming five guys into my suite this year, so my wife got on my case to get another room, so I checked pricing. I'm too cheap, so my loss might be your gain.

Thanks guys. Got reservation at Econolodge a few miles from the fair grounds. Yes, my standards are low.

Seems like Carlisle events are well supported with hotel accomodations. There where still some options available.

Are there any evening activities?
