Carpenters Special - 69 bee clone bruiser

The best thing about this thread to me is it kind of shows me how to go about tackling my Barracuda. So many things I would stand and scratch my head over I can see the steps involved. thanks for the insight.

Went to a local car show today with my wife and found the color for my car. I was originally going to go with House of kolor tangelo pearl but after seeing a few cars at other shows wearing that color I wasn't sure it was what I wanted so I have been jumping back and forth. With all the work I have been putting in to this car, and still will be, I think it's a huge decision to get the right color. I have been going through color charts and on line pics, going to car shows, taking lots of pics and printing lots of pics and now I have found the right one for me. This shade of orange is being worn by a 31 chevy and I think it is absolutely spectacular.

Wow good choice, too many guys with tough cars like yours have a need to paint it bad *** black or something like that. It will look like a piece of candy you'd want to eat. Got to ask if your going to paint the roll cage the same or contrasting?

The cage will be black.

A few up-date pics.
Got some doors with really good frames and glass so I will keep the other ones as spares. Got a little work done on the hood.

Like the bird catcher. What's your plan for front suspension? Thanks for the rear wheel opening dimensions.

I'm a big fan of that color too. I had a bike with a similar color on it and I loved it. I wanted to paint everything I owned that color lol!!

Well I finally got the Dana complete, just need to put another coat of primer on it and paint it. I just need to buy the emergency brake cable kit and that is it for the rear. So far it cost me just over $3500, ouch!

Mission accomplished.
I have been looking for the owner of this 31 custom chevy and at the car show on Sat I saw the car again and had the opportunity to speak with him and he gladly gave me all the info for the color.

Man, what an awsome build... Not to mention your skills... Looking Great, Man. I think that color will really set off your car nicely.
