Charger headlights

Hello everyone!

Im looking for new original headlights for my 70' charger.
Looked everywhere - classicind. summit. etc., there isnt any 5 3/4, with H4 bulbs, "not sealed" with "E" markings and without upgrades ( LED bulbs, xenon etc).
And why, if I select charger 1970, they offer me 7' headlights if there isnt so much space to them?

I think I bought wagoners H5006 from amazon for low beams and H5001 for high.

They are originally sealed beams, not unsealed with H4s

The ones mentioned by mccoymail are halogens and will require relays to save the load from the switch

You're correct nacho, I do have the relay kit installed.

The correction is to the OP, who is interested on originals headlights and it seems is searching for not sealed with H4, which are not.

The H5001 and H5006 are correct sealed beams replacements in Halogen

The regular ones are 4000 aaaand... can't recall the high beams.


Just to let you know, the original sealed beams in Halogen version are available at Rockauto in less than $6... quite often you can find parts of our cars in regular part shops without need to run to HiPo or Resto shops ;)

4001 or T5001 seems to be the high beams. And they seem to be harder to find now

My mistake, I want with H4 bulb option and "not sealed". I know that originaly charger was with sealed beams, but I need TUV sertification.
4001 & T5001 are sealed and without "E" markings on lens. That dont work with me.
But thanks for your answers.

Yes of course, those are sealed beams... sorry, your original post was somekind confusing where it seems you were looking for originals but mentioned not sealed?? Lol. I dunno PNs of not sealed beams pieces

Problem solved. Classicind. said that these will fit fine and xenon bulb can be replaceable with "normal "H4 bulb.
