As you may remember, my 1963 Polara spent 4.5 years in a auto-body shop.
I spent $5,300 along with $1,200 for paint, clear-coat and hardener (Simply to "push" the owner to get the project completed)

Result: I pulled the car out August 2013. A "Shell" missing many parts, one of which was (is) the characteristically unique front grille.

Along comes 5.7 hemi after reading my post about my missing front grille.
He sends me a PM stating he found one for me in upstate N.Y on eBay.
He assures me it is restorable and he can perform the work.

It was in rough shape, but I did purchase it. (They are getting hard to find)
I sent it to 5.7 hemi and he performed a truly magnificent repair/restoration on this grille for me.

Here are the "Before & after" pics.
See for your self.
Many thanks to 5.7 hemi for all his help! He had to weld spots, remove dings & dents and polish & paint.
I thought it was a new grille and my "Buds" all say it looks brand-new.

Thank you Zack.

Pics 1,2, 3 & 7 are the "AFTER"
Pics 4, 5 & 6 are the "BEFORE"

a shout out to 5.7 hemi good job done :headbang:

Looks great. Nice work !!

Thanks for the compliment guys, I appreciate it. I didn't know this little fact about the 63' grilles....they are 3 pieces riveted together. Getting them apart was easy, going back together, well, I could have used another set of hands, lol!!

Cant wait to see it on the car, it's gonna be bitchin'!!!!

5.7Hemi . . . I'd say GREAT job, but that would be an understatement - so how about AWESOME job ! ! !

Very Impressive work you did there ! !

Thanks to 5.7 hemi I now feel more enthusiastic and "positive" about continuing on with the project.

To tell the truth, I can't see much difference in condition in any of the pictures, but if you're happy, then I'm happy. :pimp_daddy:
