Best tax write off so far!

One great thing about having kids is sooner or later you get sum grandkids! Then you can spoil them rotton and give them back! It's the greatest!

Thanks for the thread!

Wish I had fathered more. Tried to be politically correct and only have a couple so I could cover all expenses in raising them. Now that i,m older I wish we would have had a full house as it would be nice to have big gatherings on the holidays instead of it being so few of us. Theres joy in family.

Forget the money, forget the problems that "may" happen.. Have them, teach and love them and enjoy each and every single day.

Ron has pretty much said it. Whatever happens, happens. That we have no control over. All we can do as Parents is treat our children with the utmost respect, try to teach them our values, but in the end we as parents must love them. No matter what, we must love them. That is what we owe them. They came into this world, not by their choice, but by ours.

I don't know one couple IRL, that have had kids and are still together. That being said I've been married 35 years, No kids. I don't feel like I've missed out on anything.

yeah...it is def the minority! I am resolve to the fact that if I end up a statistic one day...I don't have to be a husband to be a father!

I couldn't answer properly, have had kids since I was 17 in high school....love em though and they are doing pretty well....been divorced and remarried and have 4 kids now...2 boys 2 girls..first is leaving for college now and I am 34, 10 years from now the wife and I will be alone finally, only took 20 years to know what it is like to have my own bathroom ;) One thing I can say is you can't replace the years when you are needed and teaching them...the teen years pretty much suck...18 + has been good so far but she is a good kid and very smart with good work ethic...my only hope is that my youngest stays interested in Dad's "old cars" so far so good.
