I have other war relics from my dad as well as his 2 brothers, all in three different branches of service. gene in navy-south pacific and Eldon jumped in with the 82nd-normandy. purple hearts all. sounds crazy but back then they called it winning a purple heart. times have changed.i'm so lucky to grow up around patriots. relics = spoils of war. thanks for the interest guys, john.

I would give my left nut to have such a cool keepsake from my Grandpa "that is awesome, metals and all". They are called the greatest generation for a reason and justifiably so.
