Christmas Gift Exchange for a Lincoln Mark IV

I actually owned a dark green 73 Mark IV at one time long ago.

buddy of mine had the "diamond jubilee" edition......... it supposedly had real diamonds in the oval side glass and someone broke them out

I'd put those seats in my house :D

A Lincoln is the best ride to do a cross-country trip. Hope your deal on this is genuine, and enjoy !

Well I got confirmation that it is on the truck so it looks like a go.

I'd put those seats in my house

A back in the day advertising brochure said it was as comfortable as your living room couch.

Green was a very popular color back in the day. Also, it seems like anytime some finds an old car...it is green! This is more true of C Bodies, but B Bodies aren't far behind.

There has been a running joke on FCBO for awhile. Someone will post an ad for a car they found... invariably it will be green. The common response to the ad will be along the lines of "oh, look a green one. I would have never guessed". Similar comments have been posted on FBBO when a green car pops up.

Cheap entertainment. I'm easily amused. Lol

I vote for leave it alone. That is what will preserve the value of the car.

Instead, spend your excess money on a silk full length purple coat, top hat, jeweled cane, while leather boots, and some gold chains.

Thats funny

Maybe a cam timing set and true duals. That won’t be noticeable.

I used to own a '73 Thunderbird that looked almost exactly like this.....same color, same trim.....460-4v, c6 automatic

The only things I done to it was to have the points distributor "blue-printed", and added a set of true dual exhaust with a cross-over.

On an extended road trip from Ames, IA to Reno, NV, I was getting right about 17mpg at 80 mph.

Probably one of the cars I should've kept.....

It is 18 feet 6 inches long. I was having another garage built and had to add another 5 feet when I bought this, so I consider that a slip fee. The harbor master, well she told me I could pilot it myself. She even went so far as to suggest I could sleep in it.
Do you have a couple of 'Spotters' when you put the car away in your garage?

and a chequer board enamel overlay for the front teeth.

I think it’s real leather not vinyl.
I would think that a Ford I mean a Lincoln wouldn't have vinyl interior.......?

My dad had a 77 New Yorker that got 17 on the highway.......he said. Don't know what his mph was but he always drove faster than the posted limit....
