Wow, that looks like an even better match than I was expecting! I'm SOOO happy to hear you like what you've seen so far. Your car is truly spectacular so it deserved some special attention. Thanks again for your business -- you've been amazing to work with and I look forward to doing so again in the future. :D < curtsey >

Looks great. I just got a pile of parts back from Cudachick and they look spectacular. She even did a lot of smaller parts that must have been a pain in the neck to do, like bolt heads, wire looms etc and they came out beautiful. I can't say enough good things about the quality of her work..

Thanks Cleet!! It was wonderful working with you too.

I have to say gentlemen, out of my first three FBBO jobs, every one of you -- MarPar, 69PLYRUNNER and clemul -- have sent virtually spotless and/or brand new parts, been highly cooperative, intelligent, easy to deal with and communicative, and the follow up has been stellar.

I could ask for better customers ... but I surely couldn't find them. :love7::love7::love7:

I'm going with CudaChicks' company as well. There is a local shop in my area (east of Kansas City) who says he does this work and media blasting, but I had to chase him down trying to get in touch with him. I figure If I have to force my business and money on him, forget it. I'm going with Phoenix and do I ever have a great design plan...I'm hoping to do this soon but won't bug them until I have the parts and cash in hand to send over. All their work I've seen is fabulous. Great pictures and thanks for posting them.

I'm sending mine to her as well. Like being a new father all over again, can't wait to see them and on my new motor. Thanks Cuda chick!

Looks real nice. But is that painted or coated ?
Just asking as I am not fermilure with them ?
But do have some RB parts I am looking to have done up .

Thanks guys!!! :D

Inspector71, there are thousands of powder coaters these days, seemingly on every corner. I'm honored to be the one you're choosing! Just so you know though, PSC isn't a huge corporation with a big staff so there isn't any "them" here; it's just two of us.

When he's not working on his personal projects (i.e., when he's bored out of his skull lol), Billy helps me with some blasting occasionally, welds up my jigs and the random blown out bolt hole on old Commando valve covers and handles most of the shop maintenance, but other than that I do everything else personally. When you deal with PSC, you can expect to deal with ME on every aspect of the job from well before it starts until after it's done and installed on your car, and you will receive nothing short of personal attention and great customer service. If you don't, let me know and I'll kick that redhead's azz myself. :D

And as an afterthought, even though you aren't "ready" yet please don't hesitate to share your ideas with me now. MarPar might jump in and confirm here that a few extra days of his 6-color Mopar Performance job idea floating around in my head before the parts actually arrived allowed me to come up with a new masking idea that turned out saving him at least a couple hundred bucks on his bill.

Rod, I'm really looking forward to working with you too -- your excitement is contagious! I sent a PM to Mike yesterday but haven't heard back from him yet. But you can rest assured that between the two of us, you're in good hands. Just like Allstate LOL

Thanks for the kind words Redhorse! :D

Okay, time to go eat some homemade beef stew -- it's been a busy day and I'm starvin. There's plenty if ya'll wanna join us.

Everything I do here is powder coated (and/or polished). I'll be the first one to tell you I'm the World's Worst Painter :D ... but I can powder coat with the best of 'em.

CudaChick1968: Thanks, I've bugged you about what I plan and didn't want to waste your time until I had the cash in hand. I switched from my 68 Charger (needs drive train rebuild, interior, quarters, trunk, etc) to the 68 Barracuda that had a slant six. I traded for a 360 and 727 tranny from a friend. The car is UU1 light metalic blue, needs no quarters or rust repair (brought it from California) and I decided to do that one first (as I've never done this before) and then go to the Charger. I am changing the color to Q5 Seafoam mist turquoise. The drive train is out, the K frame is out, and I am cleaning it up preparatory to switching to a disc brake system. I have all the front suspension parts but the new torsion bars. This is where you come in.
I am going to have the 360 done in Chrysler red. The Edlebrock air gap intake will be red, the headers and accessories (alternator) black. I plan to buy the Mopar black valve covers. I'd like to have them powder coated in read, except for the top finned area. I'd like that in black. The Mopar Script? and letter M? Maybe the script in red and letter in white. I plan to match it with a black Mopar performance air cleaner, the finned model, and have it switched to black and red to match the valve covers. I would supply all the parts of course and they would be brand new in the box. I hope that is doable.
In the meantime, why aren't you on television? I can only watch so many re-runs of Fast and Loud (I call it Fast and Ford) and Counting Cars. You need your own show.

I like them turquoise covers ,not sure if I would put them on my car I think I would hang them on the wall so I could admire them all the time they are very sharpe a:hatwave:to you, you`ve done a fantastic job :headbang:

That sounds cool! We can tighten up the details on the color scheme later. I'm glad I asked though ...

Since you haven't bought the parts yet, get them in "as cast" fashion rather than the painted black ones regardless of whether they're the same price or not. If I don't have to blast them bare -- a real chore with all the lettering, ribs, and the serious thick paint job Ma Mopar puts on there -- it'll save you a few hours' labor on the bill. The thread originator can vouch for me on that one too.

Moreover, though I have no actual factory info to back this up other than what I've seen with my own eyes over the years, I think they choose the uglier castings for the ones they're going to paint. There always seems to be more deburring and metal work needed under the paint job than on the bare, as-cast pieces. The less I have to do the quicker your parts will be done and the less it's going to cost in the long run.

LMAO @ being on television .......... there's enough crap on tv now as it is. No matter how or if I'm dressed, nobody would want to watch me polishing on a valve cover for a half hour between medicine commercials. Ya'll crack me up!

Thanks snakeyes -- you always put a smile on my face! My Tri-Power air cleaner lid customer hung it on his wall for awhile. Nothing like portable Powder ****! :D

Man those look great! No surprise to me though, I have a couple sets done by P.S.C. Congratulations, those will look absolutely fabulous on your car.
I may as well ad to the showing of Leanna's work. I couldn't be happier with these. They were a challenge for her due to being very old castings, but she made them look beautiful.

Inspector you could also have the parts delivered to Leanna directly instead of to you and then you having to ship to her. More $$ savings :) for Powder ****!
