cool stuff found in cars during tear down

i'm not sure this is cool but.....
Years ago i bought a 63 belevedere from two ladies, loaded on the trailer and towed
it home. Took the seats out and found a 12 volt vibrator and some womens underwear
stuffed under the front seat.
I often wondered what happened on that back seat.

that wasnt a vibrator....it was a " neck massager'

I think the worst thing I ever found in a car was a big album of family pictures and what looked like stuff from kids. The car was totally smashed, air bags deployed, and I figured the only reason someone would leave that kind of stuff in a car is they didn't survive the crash.

I havent found anything cool yet in mine. Im hoping that my build sheet will still be there!

Under the rear seat botom, I found a sheet that wasn't for my car, but a car that had the same color interior.

Under the front seat, I found a stack of sheets connected by perforations that had the "do not buid" sheet, and some other odd sheets including one that looks to be a call to either start or stop the line, and a fair condition sheet for my car.

I took out the top of the back seat last weekend, and found a much nicer sheet for my car.

Thats odd, were they using you car as a trash can when it was being built?

They were all neatly placed between the springs like normal.

I'm just sayin' check all those places.

I've never heard of anyone else finding those kinds of sheets, either.

At the U-pull, my brother in law found a prosthetic leg.

It's the most solid, most reliable (so far) Mopar I've ever had.

It does have some "interesting" "features", like the person on the passenger side of the assembly line did a great job on the roof to quarter and roof to cowl seams.
The person on the driver's side must have been new, or didn't give a crap, cause those seams are terrible.

Got a free motor home for the 440 in it. only had 92K on it. Roof was caved in and it was packed full of previous owners crap. Towed it around to a dumpster and started going thru it. Sold a lot of the old antique stuff in it, made some money. Went around the back and started popping locks open for all the compartments on it. Found an onan gas powered generator that only had 18hrs on it and RAN! thing was huge.

Worst part was the plastic container with some "greens" in it, or so he called it. Guy I had helping me took off with it, called in sick the next day. Pretty sure he tried smokin that and he obviously got what he deserved!

LOL that only 15 minute from my salvage yard LOL

Found a lotta weird stuff in cars over the years. Found a pair of woman's underwear under the rear seat in a Dart.........Relax, they could have been used for a parachute. Found a .30-6 Bullet in a 73 Charger that had the name "Darren" etched on it. Guess that dude should be happy to be alive (if he still is). Found about 30 drink tickets for a strip club called "The Million Dollar Fantasy Ranch", out of somewhere in Missouri...Someday I'll have to go see if the place is still open. Found a hand written poem where someone was comparing their lover to BBQ sauce...Probably could have used a more romantic set of words...Fail! Best yet was in my roadrunner..an unpaid speeding ticket..lol

I think you wrote the BBQ sauce one yourself and just blacked it out :)

My buddy was restoring his 71 Road Runner. When he removed the carpet, he found a paper coffee cup that had been mashed flat. It had the Chrylser pentastar and logo on it. We figured it was left from the assembly line.

Great stuff, folks;can't wait to pull my center console(to install the ratchet shifter) and see what pops out. I did find my build sheet under the back seat-in good shape-and a 1964 Kennedy half-dollar as well. Haven't pulled the carpet;I wonder what awaits me there. I'll let you know.

This thread has potential "Epic" status all over it. Keep 'em coming! Oh,rrowdy;they didn't leave any pics of their "adventures"? Wait;those would have to go to the "Blue Forum".

:iamwithstupid: In my 68 RR RM23 I purchased in 2005... While fixing a big a$$ crease, down the whole drivers side of the car, I found about 20lbs of 16 penny Box nails, a couple of wood chisels in the drivers side between the trunk & quarter lower areas, all really wedged packed in that area, rusting away like crazy, then found a really old rusty 20' tape measure, rusty combination square, rusty utility knife pouches & a near perfect 4" Buck pocket-knife in a belt holster on the passenger side, I think the original owner must have been a Carpenter, dropping crap out of his bags/pouches when throwing them in the trunk for years...LOL... I also found 3 build sheets for 68 RR's only 1 was for mine under the back seat base & near perfect condition, the other 2 wear really bad & in multiple pieces in the back portion of the seat...... {I guess it's not really all that uncommon, to find multiple types of build sheets}... I'm the 3rd owner, it's only has 67k miles on the car {rode very hard & put away wet too} & the second owner, never really did anything except, change the carburetor to a new Edelbrock carburetor & resale the car to me for a loss... I have pretty much gone thru the whole car now, still not done, still needs minor work, need to do the under dash, I'm not looking forward to that & still need to paint the original color LL1 Surf Turquoise Metallic paint eventually, probably find even more stuff eventually... I found an old 100 shares of AT&T stock certificate from the 1940's stuff under the dash, in a 1933 Chevy 2 dr coupe body, I bought for a Race car body, way back in the 80's off some rice farmer in the Sonoma Ca., area right by the Sears Point/Infinion race track, it had been abandoned there for 35 or so years, rotting away... The stock certificate was worth like 10 times it's original value & the stock had split several times, so I had actually found like 1000 shares of AT&T stock, just added it to my account, I couldn't ever trace the original car owner or stock owner, I had no info or Vin to trace, it's over 1500 shares now... best find ever... I have found a few pairs of panties, a cheap diamond ring once, a gold necklace, few ear rings, a watch, etc. back in the 70's & 80's, when I was buying all kinds of 68-70 Charger's & 68-70 Road Runner's {among other cars, like Fairlane's, Torino's, Camaro's, GTO's, Firebirds, GS's, 442's} back then it was really pretty common to find cheap jewelry, panties, pipes, roaches/joints type stuff, in the cars... it was the 70's & 80's after-all, allot of raunchy elicit things were going on in cars, especially back then...

Whist this would be nothing you have not all seen before. My roadrunner when i started to disassemble it i found lots and lots of mice nests and grass. both doors completely full, some of chassis rail. Not willing to pull apart heater box at this stage. Car had just been passed as all clean but quarantine. Cleary car was done on friday afternoon and NOT looked at. So a little time later my father imports an engine in a wooden crate and quarantine keeps engine for over a month after fining a wasp nest in the box. They are very strict over here. Well they are at least meant to be.

I forgot the best part probably 100+ big a$$ Black Widow Spiders & nests coming out of the rear frame section, afterwords, when I removed the rusty old fuel tank, scary the next morning in my garage, when I went to get under the car, it gave me the damn eeby geebies...

I found a gold diamond ring at u pull. Found a 357 magnum in a formula ta many years ago. Under my glovebox liner in my 67 Coronet I found a roach and a bag of prehistoric weed. I keep finding beer cans in the back seat still cold and half full!
