Coolant purge from cap

'One of one' bottle haha I love it. I used to use a sports bottle that had a flip-up spout, the hole in the spout was just big enough to firmly hold the overflow hose..make it work and keep drivin'!

I’m hung up on the 2 ear cap that I remember Ma using. Can’t find one. Finding only NOS for $27.

I prefer the correct ones as well, but they end up being pricey.
Sometimes you can find one at a swap meet for a good price.

I've had the same problem, my guess is the cap, it fixed my problem. I bought a cap with a built in temperature gauge and watch between the two.

30 minute idling in driveway. 18 degree difference in 2 readings. No purge.
