SUMMARY: The driver and passenger side gaps are different from one another.

Driver's Side:
1.78 inch gap between the two loom covers.

2.00 inch gap between the rear loom cover and the rear wheel tub.

Get the dash harness,easy to install with dash in car. Ive done 3 that way. Ok I lied its a pita. buy doable. :lol:
 
2004 BMW X5 E53 chassis with the N62 4.4 liter DOHC V-8 and ZF 6 speed steptronic transmission.
I drove those for years on end. Was the cheapest decent 4wd vehicle you could get in MN. Mostly all they ever need was a coolant system overhaul that runs about $1400 with RockAuto parts and I could beat on them for a few good years until the suspension was shot from city driving and then sell them for nearly what I paid. But I did have the moon roof stick a couple times and once that happens you learn to never open it again.
