Disc Brake conversion

If you want a decent kit for a decent price that fits stock wheels call Cass(Dr.diff) it comes with everything you need so your not wasting time by random pieces. If you want the bigger brakes, you can buy them through Cass as well. I have both, any questions I had he called me back immediately, and answered them.

Add a mastercylinder from autozone and you're good to go.

I purchased the drum to disc conversion thru Jeg's. Included power master + discs, drilled and slotted. Used original 64 Belvedere spindles. Rebuilt front end since I had it apart anyways, including new lines from In-line Tube. Biggest issue was getting old parts ( example - ball joints ) out. Having the right sockets ( and a big hammer ) helps. Put in SSBC distribution block valve for front to rear balance. Split lines for later installation of Line-Loc. Rear brakes - Did R&R + new drums.
Took my time, read directions ( learned the hard way ) , bled brakes, adjusted balance. Been running with no issues for 2+ years.

sorry for stepping in here..... but I need to know if someone has an idea what kind of brakehoses will fit /match for my 66 Coronet...I have the one pistion brake capilars ...( disc brake ) the current hoses are way to long... ( The car was original a Drumbrake car..) So the steel lines are still from the "drum brake times "....

Hmm, my drum brake lines were too short, and kinked.

I see you have slider calipers. What are they from?

I ended up using 73 and up lines spec'd for a B body in general (every thing from a Satellite/Charger to a Cordoba/Fury/Magnum).

Not 100% perfect, but worked MUCH better than either the 66 hoses or the 87 hoses.

Where are your bleeder valves? They should be at the top.

....the Calipers should be from a 78 charger.... my bleederscrews are on top...the brake lines are sitting lower than the bleeder screws..
I will take some more /better pics later today...so you can see the current brake hose set up...

Could not agree more, GO TO SUMMET, the tech guys there are very knowledgable and will help you ID exactly what you need. I went to Summet after spending a lot of frustrating time on proportioning valve set up for disc in the front and drums in the back, will never do that again....

Not to hijack, but if going from a factory 1971 Dodge charger power drum brake setup, to a factory 1971 Dodge charger power disc setup. Are the LCA's the same or different?

made some pics today..... the hoses I have installed now are way to long.... I recieved two hoses today...they are not as long as the joses I have installed mow.....but the problem is the angle betweeen the steel brake line and the caliper...
