2002 Dakota 4.7 4x4...my ABS light is flashing and beeping
I was chasing another issue (TPS), which is now resolved (I think)... it was not as easy as replacing the sensor...... seems like there was resistance within the plug/wire/pin connection, no visible corrosion, but its only 18 ga wire...... very inconsistent and a pain in the *** to diagnose
in the coarse of trouble shooting, I swapped in my 01 Durango computer to see If it picked up the same code; it did, and I ruled out my Dakota computer having an issue.
I put the Dakota computer back in, continued my troubleshoot, found my issue, and fixed it......no TPS code, awesome
but after reinstalling the computer, the ABS light flashes and beeps non stop....... I pulled the 40 amp ABS fuse, it stopped the annoying beep and now the ABS is lit solid.
brakes are normal, but I'm clueless as to WTF happened........ I'm all ears, thanks
