DOGS

Hope I'm not breaking the rules by
posting this vid.
You can tell this little pup shares his
devotions equally. The kids run in
opposite directions with the pup in
between them.

I realize this is placing undo anxiety
and stress on this poor pooch, but
his reaction demonstrates the bond
of the pack.

What's her name, Sam?
So far, Sweetie Pie, the obvious thing to call her, but she needs a better name than that or: puppy, puppy, puppy when she looks like she has to pee. Probably an accident, but this morning she asked to get out and then peed.
I heard once that they respond better to hard consonants, so my first dogs name was Keif, I had a Code (as in Morse), and my last one was Cook. Someone suggested Clare, but I got in trouble naming a dog after people before. I named a pup Apple and then some people moved in next-door with a six year old daughter named Apple. I couldn't be stepping outside and yelling for Apple, so she became Apple Dumplin', which became Dumplin', and finally Dump. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Had to run to the powder-coater today. Figured I'd take Daddy's Girl with me...

This is what my daughter does for a living. Her hospital specializes in breeding and birthing. These are Yellow Labs. Things don't always go well, that's why this birth was in the hospital. Sometimes the pups die and sometimes the mama dies. It can be rough on her. This one went well.

Thanks for saving her ! Like you said before, she could have gotten crushed by a cows hoof...or picked up a sickness from the filth she was living in. Now she will get the chance to thrive in a healthy, loving home.
I didn't mean to give the impression she was living in filth, but she definitely stunk. A couple of baths in the kitchen sink with dish detergent fixed that

My Ruby likes to sleep on the sofa at night. Most of the time, anyway. She'll come into my room at around 4am to check on me and my wife, and then go back in the living room to the couch. But come 5am, she's ready to jump into the bed and hang out till I get ready for work. She stays on the bed after that for awhile, then goes outside.

She's gained ten pounds over the past 18 months, which the vet said is good for a Boxer-Mastiff mix like her. At 132#, she's square in the middle of her normal weight range of 80-160 pounds. Were she a male, she'd be 125 - 200#. She's such a clown, some days. If you've never witnessed a large dog do zoomies, it's one of the funniest things you can imagine!

In the picture, she is saying "get your *** out of my spot, I need to rest up for my next nap!"

That's a big dog! My youngest shepherd is my biggest boy, a hundred pounds, and a handful. He tends to run between my legs at night to get his butt scratched. He's come close to knocking me on my *** several times.

They just opened the door, and charged in, cause it's play time. Such a chore, LOL.

Bitter sweet ending. Well some of you May remember that Bonnie and Clyde showed up 3 weeks ago at our WHSE. Well their real names are Galaxy and Diablo. The owners were located through Facebook. They came and picked them up this morning. They were very happy to be reunited with their family. We did take them to the Vet and get their shots updated and heart worming meds. No chip was found. I don’t know how they traveled 35 miles to get here but I’m glad they made it safely. Going to miss them. Sniffle Sniffle. Very good dogs.

Glad they got reunited with their human pack. But you have to wonder. How did they get 35 miles away.
