my new pup Baron' (aka; Blue Baron von Budnicks of U--)
I still deeply miss Elvis Budnicks of U--, it was just a matter of time
a deal came up, so I got him, starter dogs are like
$3,300+ now, that's nucken' futs
I told the lady my story & she gave me pitty, charged $1,500
& my 87 y/o dad paid 1/2 of that, a late B-day present he called it...
He misses having a dog around too
People who have dogs live longer & healthier lives
he was 4 months old when I got him
the last pup of a litter of English/yellow labs, his mom was like 77-80#s
dad was like 90+#s, from Valley Springs a couple hrs away
he's really white mostly, a lil' tan on his ears & down his back/tail
pretty smart lil' dog, he's doing well, takes most training well
his stay & come isn't very good yet
occasional stray pee problem
loves to retrieve, he has lots of toys
he does well in the kennel for a couple hrs, can go maybe 4 hrs, doing better daily
he sleeps on the foot of my bed (I know spoiled rotten)
after he wakes up like 4-5am-ish I put him out to go pee,
precautionary mostly
when he comes back in, I put him in the kennel, he just lays down
that's good for almost a couple more hrs of sleep, I really do need...
He's just over 18 weeks now, man he's grown
I need to weigh him soon...
