By chance, does anyone using this Center link/drag link know where it is manufactured?
It is a dropped version made to clear deep oil pans.

It is sold by both Mancini part#MRE 1858015 and 440 source part #2001175

I don't KNOW, but I'll bet my next ss check it's chinese.
If it was made in USA, don't you think they'd say so?
I know. The language is semi suspect because it states: "As far as we are aware, these are the only 100% NEW MANUFACTURED centerlinks currently available on the market"................... but no USA or country of origin anywhere.
I mean, I'm sure there are manufacturers off shore that make great products like Canada, England, Japan, Germany and maybe even China and so on, but I just like to know where things are made.

I'll bring the 411 once I find out or someone here breaks the news.

A question concerning the straight part of the center link.

If the straight across part of the center link were to be modified by lowering it even more, would that screw with the suspension geometry and strength of the unit even if the end mounts end up in the same place as stock?

Trying to get in touch with both retailers Mancini and 440 Source. Phones are busy. Hope they are honest about where it comes from.

EXACTLY. There would be MADE IN USA all over the place with blinking lights.

Exactly, exactly. It's always good practice to be proud of your product and announce it on the packaging. It might even be by law in business.

To be honest, I haven't seen one of these upfront and in person to know where they are made/machined. Just was asking to see if anyone here has purchased one as of lately and taken note to where it is made, That's all.

It could be made in China and hopefully the critical tolerances for such a critical part have been taken into account.
In defense of SOME products made overseas in various countries, they usually have tight quality control only if the distributors on this side insist on it from either the pressures of SAE standards and or their own reputation.

I certainly believe the Chinese can make a good, quality product, IF the entity contracting for it REQUIRES a quality product.
As to geometry: I'm not scientist, but I did stay in a holiday Inn once. If the attachment points are in the same place, I don't see how geometry can be affected. But anything with a bend in it will be weaker than a straight piece. The more bend, more weaker I suspect.
What say you, Robert?

Mystery solved. LOL. I got off the phone with Mancini earlier today and they said: Made Overseas.
It should have quality to ensure its performance in a critical area.
