they all look like a laser light show; and I have yet to see one that actually gives a reason to buy the car. The Cadillac commercial is the worst.

I usually just change the channel
I don't even watch/listen
I am not their target audience, at all...

Usually same thing on the Wuhan China SARS flu virus boosters/vaxxs adverts.
or them 'light in the loafers' :gay: types adverts. 'constantly'
we are all now bombarded with :realcrazy:
in most all the rest of the commercials/channels

It seems Discovery, Animal Planet, History & MotorTrend Channels,
Outdoor & SCN the other Guns & hunting channel, here
all have changed too
Those are the only real primary cable channels 'I watch' regularly
not as many 'of the woke science' commercials, of any kind,
but it's becoming mainstream, more & more, all the time...

That's the wrong advertising on/for the wrong TV audience
totally wrong demoographic/s

'in my humble opinion' take it or leave it I don't care...
It's like they don't even know their own demographic, viewers
or it's being forced on them, by a higher source/entity/agenda...

I won't & rarely do watch any big 3, ABC CBS NBC network stuff ever
I wouldn't know there, for all those reasons above... because they suck
I usually DVR something & just Ffwd thru commercials, when or if I do...

IMHFO it's like the fringe minority factions, the 3% - 5%
in all aspects of life today
are now/pushing forcing their ideology/agenda on viewers
telling the 95%-97% majority/buying markets
what to buy, how to live & what to do & why to do it :BangHead:
they are "still" only a very small share of the automotive market
you wouldn't think so by the adverts/propaganda...

the old adage;
'the squeakiest (in this case the loudest or obnoxious) wheel gets the most grease'

Like electric car commercials, I don't listen to tampon commercials either.

I have yet to conclude that I don't get the message, that there is some encrypted message for me, how I could possibly benefit from buying tampons, or that Cotex is forcing their ideology on me.

That's a healthy perspective.

The difference is though, California hasn't passed laws forcing you to own tampons by 2032.
Well then again it is CA, maybe they have and I haven't seen it.

Remember the 80s car commercials?

But yeah, the new electric car commercials suck! Where the spontaneous combustion, shorten battery range depending on the weather, the child miners in India thank you, you’re an idiot for thinking these are good for the environment warnings?

I miss the old History channel when they did....... history. I don't give a ....well, you know, ....about oak island or the other bs they put on now.

my point was they don't hype any awesome features of the cars......like there aren't any

"be electrifying" and "be iconic" is the sales pitch

When I see an EV car ad, I have the same response as I have when any ad comes on for Covid vaccines. I flip off the TV, say a few curse words and tune out.

Even regular gas and diesel car ads haven't touted performance and economy like they used to.
For years, they have been stuck on safety and tech. Two matters that don't mean anything to me.

:lol:Touche!

US automakers have adopted
European car body standards
for pedestrian strikes. Supposedly
pedestrians are supposed to "roll"
off the fenders, or be bounced over
the top of the car, resulting in less
severe injury.
I'm in full agreement, as I find myself
searching a cars' badging to figure
out the make.

they are desperate to get people to buy this garbage, even had a salesman call me at home........i would rather ride a bike or walk

Saw an ad with Will Farrell pimping GM electric vehicles, saying that Netflix is now going to feature electric cars in all of their upcoming shows and movies! Alright, who forgot to plug in the get away car! Maybe the cops won't see us while we charge it up for 8 or 10 hours! Lol

And other then lithium is a rare earth metal, and you have to absolutely rape the earth to find it, and they are using underage workers in unsafe conditions (like America did, before we got smart and made labor laws,) battery fires are bad, the “recycling” of the batteries is just throwing them in a cave (again how’s that environment friendly) is the other reason I can’t stand ev. There’s no law demanding me to use gas, I choose to, why can’t ev be the same?

I saw an episode of All Girls Garage where they installed a sound system that emits fake exhaust sounds in one of those fugly electric Mustangs! The best part was when Faye, the one covered in tats said "it sounds like the car is shifting when it's not "! Tune in next week to All Girls Garage when the girls will show you how to fake your orgasms! Lol!

No doubt, we were worried about them putting computer chips in us,but we pay them monthly to monitor us!

I find it amusing when they show them out in the country in the middle of nowhere just shooting around all carefree without a charging station in sight. They don't show them running out of power with nowhere to charge them.
