I find it amusing when they show them out in the country in the middle of nowhere just shooting around all carefree without a charging station in sight.

It reminds me of how Beer ads show thin people out being social instead of a lonely fat guy glued to the couch with a six pack and a bag of Doritos chips.

Well, advertising only helps when they sell a fantasy of a best case scenario of what can happen if you buy the product.
Imagine an ad with a chainsaw where the guy cuts his arm off or the spray can hair infomercial if the guy gets ridiculed by everyone in the audience.
They are not going to mention any drawbacks to the product.

they all look like a laser light show; and I have yet to see one that actually gives a reason to buy the car. The Cadillac commercial is the worst.

Another reason to just DVR everything and watch a particular show when I have time and can FF through the commercials.

When I was a kid at Christmas getting electric toys was always buying batteries for them. My recharge flashlight is never charged up when I need it. Also, it does not last that long so have to drag out the old plug-in flood light. If you look into buying tires for an electric vehicle your not just going to buy any tire. They are so heavy you have to buy special tires to accommodate for the weight of the car. Just check the price of those tires you will be shocked. Just let me fill up my gas pollution spewing vehicle and levee me the hell alone.

Just find it funny when half the auguments against the elecrtic car thing is about the bad thing the battery is going to cause the people mining it and what happens after the battery is done its life but are still using the same battery in their cell phone or laptop while reading about it and posting
