I have a '70 Road Runner with the 440 six pak. In locating the stamped engine number, I found the plate that the number is supposed to be, but no number. It is blank. I was told that the block is a factory warranty replacement. Can more knowledgeable mopar Garu's confirm this for me.
Thanks!

Sir,

That would be a toughie sir, as warranty units were left blank, and the only stamp, other than the one missing, would be on the front of the motor, drivers side. 2013-10-21 11.22.18.jpg

Can you hit us with a partial VIN, last 8 digits?

Should have a HP2 on front pad unless it has bee "ground"
As indicated on Duranal25's pad

Be advised, Block stamping was very unscientific!

Poor QA (Quality Control) etc.

Pads were stamped with "a" stamp upside down, double strikes etc....

So, anything iis possible (In my opinion)
