Exhaust Recommendations?

I don’t know which Dynomax ultra flows you have, nor what SuperTurbos folks are recommending.

If you go Superturbo, I recommend the 17748s. 20” long body, 25.5” overall. They will be a little quieter than the long Ultras, but still noticeably louder than stock.
I agree on the long body Super Turbos. Even the shorter ones will not have the cruise drone that the Ultra Flows have.

Find my thread on doing a quiet exhaust. I wrapped it up last fall with a post detailing how to get a 440 to be as quiet as a new car and not lose power. With headers you won’t get that quiet, but it will have that cool tinging sound at the engine. My goal was met, I despise drone and I drive and drive all I can, I don’t care for loud exhaust. Especially when I do my weekly security sweep around the industrial park…

I listed my entire solution. Short story is dynomax super turbos and resonators. There is a chart in there a member made that shows the flow of many kinds of mufflers. The super turbo is a solid choice, the resonator does the rest.

My suggestion is to install Vibrant brand resonators in back. Then change the mufflers if you don’t get to the place you want to be. A true resonator will not cut power at all. It will basically bounce the sound around inside it and cancel it out. I found the can style to do the trick, they do make and ultra quiet that is a bit bigger body. Their tech said it does cut more sound, but it’s only like 10-15% more. I thought it would be too close in my 69 GTX. Been decades since my last charger so I don’t know of you’d have a tad more room or not.

Consider how it is hung as well, that can affect you getting vibrations in the car. My interior buzz is gone now, I used to get some trim that would do that at certain rpm.
