Fabricating a Floor Patch

I am in the process of re-doing my interior and need to address some rust issues before I can proceed. I don't own a bead roller but I was able to make a factory(ish) looking patch panel using a method inspired by a thread on the H.A.M.B., but changed it up a bit. I cut a piece of square tubing to use as sort of a die to bend around the 1/4" rod taped on the metal.

It's not factory perfect but I think it's looks better (and stiffer) than a flat panel.
 
Neccessity is the mother of invention, good job!!
 
that is a good idea,then you can use shorter rods and put them at angles for other floor mods.
