Family Tradition

I wanna thank all you guys for the all the kind words, compliments, ambition, support and reference on this build. Like you other guys with Resto threads and those have done it before know, having folks support/cheer you along the way really makes the restoration that much enjoyable. Like others, i've run into lull's with this build where it seems I'll never get done or nothing is getting done. All it takes is a "hey how's the car going" or watching another move forward with their ride and i'm back out in the garage pegging away. So, here at the finish line I just wanted to take a minute and clearly tell you guys I do appreciate your time and responses and I take to heart that all of you have been part of bringing my dream car to the pavement.

LOL...I let the wife know to put Depends on her shopping list. I'm sure in the hell not going to get caught buying those things. If you see future pic's of the car with 17 Christmas tree air fresheners, you'll know what happened.

Hey Will, been lurking your thread/"12-volume b-body encyclopedia" from time to time since I joined the forum. As much as I've been able to dig into the 100+ pages, your work has been absolutely outstanding! So count me in on the crowd looking forward to the finish line, I'll bring the beers lol :eek:ccasion14:

i think it should be included in the FBBO handbook!!!

it's been exciting to watch you toil away many nights {with superb insight and advice} and finally be able to see the fruits of your labor come all together!!

just so we don't forget where you came from....

Thanks Mario and thanks for posting those buddy! Sure was a pig all dressed up in lipstick back then. A bit deceiving, but we got the cancer out of there. Glad I had the chance to post all the hurdles and the revival. Been fun.

the prop master i will bow down sir,giving props where they are due, a tremendes thread by the prop master, i have enjoyed this thread since the day i joined this site,great narating during the thread and explanations for teaching,one stupendous recreation,with imagination and plenty of foresight,great job prop,you are going to have to change your quote at the end of your replys now,because if tomorrow is cancelled,then you can not finish your bird,unless you finish it today,just a little humor.
 
Will, yours was one of many threads here that got the juices flowing for me to get mine going. It will be a sad yet happy day when you take it for a break-in run. I have learned so much from reading your build, that I will miss reading more on it. Knowing you Will, it won't be long and you will be up to your elbows in something else. Maybe if the land deal goes thru, you can start a build thread on that one and turn it into another epic thread. LOL. You just have to build it big enuf for most of us to come up there some weekend.
 
Whens the movie coming out ?? now that we have a Novel.... he he ha ha, "The test drive" at theaters near you soon....

Hey will, was looking thru some of your previous post trying to find the song (convoy) that you put up while we were talking about driving trucks and saw that you had stated that by the time you got the bird back on the road you were going to have a 50 page thread. I think you over shot that just a smidge. LMAO. Still haven't found the song yet, but enjoying going back over your rebuild on a trip down memory lane.
