Family Tradition

Not a whole lot of work done over the weekend. Knocked out the rest of the wiring on the dash (thanks to all that helped answer all my questions). That pretty much Wraps up the Dash....Starting on the heater box tomorrow.

Thanks Dave and yes I did have the plastic cluster bezel rechromed/plated. Got the lead on the place from ILM65 on this site. Place is called Vaccum Orna-metal out of Romulus Michigan. Super great folks to work with and a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a new one or their competitors prices. They will do any plastic type chroming. I believe It ran me around 50 bucks including shipping to have it done.

LOL! No Doubt, especially without scratching it.. Worse part is that I will be probably be counting on my 95lb wife to help me slam it in. The thing almost weighs more than her. Yikes!

Thanks for the compliment and Welcome back!

LOL...You bet. Hurry up the road eh! I'm sure the misses would have you half corked blitzed on a suitcase of lennie's in a snap hey. You know we probably wouldn't get **** done...LOL. Well, besides blowing 14 dollars in quarters in the dart maching and running the gauntlet on the drink specials down at Lakeside pub.

Anyone know where to get an ignition switch for a 69'. It's the giant one they used for like a year or two....Seems real loose (not the mounting)

Just a little update and sorry for the phone camera pic, I don't always drag that big bulky Canon around with me...Been at the shop here lately and have been wrapping up the skim, filing and staightening of the metal in back. Off to around the wheel openings after I prime and block this area

No luck on the ignition switch Dave, but I did find a floor brights switch that I needed while navigating through their site, so thanks! Wopping 6 bucks.

Year One lists the part with the plug, but nothing for the keyed part.69 must be the odd duck as the other books list up to 68 and 70 on up.

Thanks a bunch!!!! Yowwwchh!! Holy smokes, I didn't think a guy would take quite the kick in the shorts over a ignition set. Goes to show what I know. Checking on a decent used one right now Jay, but if that doesn't pan out, looks like this will be the route i'll be going.

Thanks for finding it!

what exactly do you need i may have one ??? do you need the lock cylinder with it or just the switch ???
