dang will, you're doing things on your car i would never have thought to look for. but i'm glad you're doing it.Excellent work as always.Hope i can get something done on mine but if my shoulder doesn't get better, i doubt it.Took a tumble on the stairs while holding on the handrail.doctor said i pushed the shoulder into the socket or something like that.Still working on trying to get my torsion bars out.Any projected time you think you'll get yours on the road?

Wow, sorry to hear about your shoulder Roger. Hopefully you can bounce back soon. Working on these cars can take a toll on a guy anyways. Trying to work on one injured would be pretty damn rough. Let me know if you need to borrow my torsion bar removal tool if you don't have one. They work pretty slick for getting them out.

As far as project timing, I imagine if I burned a week of vacation and dedicated some pretty long days, I could probably have this car on the road. Problem is funding for the powerplant. Being the caliber and the price/quality of parts that are going in the stroker, needless to say they're not cheap. I could probably spend a few grand, get the machine work done and reassemble a bored fire breathing 440, but I set my goal for the 512 or possibly the 525 Kit. I've come this far and have set goals on other items/upgrades for the car which have been completed. I'm making it a point with the engine to not get anxious and stick with the game plan, no matter how long it takes to put the funds and logistics in place.

thanks for the offer will,i have the torsion bar removal tool that i bought for me.Just trying to get the bolts to turn after 40 yrs of not moving.Sprayed with pb blaster brushed threads and sprayed some more to soak. How is "little brother" doing?Maybe i can find a pink one for your wife so she can have a "little sister" of her own.:eusa_clap::giggle:

I just got done doing a bunch of plastic panels today with SEM but I used the sand free that they sell. They turned out great!
What are you going to dye your seat belts with? I just pulled mine out and washed them.

Using the RIT Dye 71ShallengerSE...sold at Walmart, most grocery stores. Glad to hear the SEM worked out good for ya.

Roger, got the little bird proudly displayed behind the big one. Wife likes it. Says "at least that one actually moves"....lol

I'm right behind you. Great restoration and thanks for showing the detail items. It has helped with my crazy over the top project.

No sweat Chargermoneypit...Glad to see you're in the final stretch as well. Your Charger turned out beautiful.

Hold on boys...we're getting there.....Not too much further to go.

Thanks Matt......Starting to get the nitty gritty blues here. Hoping to get the bird done soon so I can move on to the next Rust box mopar resto.

That's something that will probably be entertained after the bird see's the blacktop Ron

Time being, got the carpet installed (Thanks Dave! That stuff you sold me fits great), piecing together an HID headlight system and I found this Pentastar emblem from Mopar.
Didn't like the cheap plastic aftermarket gold one, much bigger fan of the brushed stainless look. If anyone is interested in getting one, go to the dealership and order P/N 4630238. They came on 93-96 New Yorkers and the Dodge dynasty for a bit. Size is the same as the gold ones.
