What engine is in the car now? I know it could have been changed over all these years, but, it might give an indication. The VIN shows a 383 4bbl. The fender tag shows a 318.
Actually no.....it looks like a DMV plate that was issued to the car.The first picture he posted is the fake vin plate.
Maybe the Canadian DMV lol but that plate looks to me like it was hacked up out of a pie tin.Actually no.....it looks like a DMV plate that was issued to the car.
Looks Suspiciously Silly! If you are making a Race Car or need a parts car then I wouldn’t have bought the car!Throwing that half assed tag on the car is like throwing tits on Bruce Jenner and calling him a her. Something just isn't right.
Maybe someone drilled the VIN to take it off for paint? That was the one thing I did not remove when I painted my Charger!Nooo those are factory....
That last one helps. Tks.How about a picture of the car itself. The bodies of Coronets and Belvederes look completely different. Wondering if you have a Belvedere cuz the trim tag looks legit to me.
Here's my light blue 67 Belvedere, an internet grab of a red 67 Coronet 500, and a Dave Wise graphic for Vehicle No. Locations:

Yeah, some photos of the car may help. Lots of Canadian cars used Dodge front ends with Plymouth back ends and vice versa. Maybe this was an assigned VIN to replace a lost one? The stamped shipping order number on the core support should match the one on the fender tag. What sort of paperwork did you get with the car? Did it match the VIN?

My father had the same car he had bought at an Auction. It was a Losangeles Police Interceptor cop Car it had A 383 Magnum Motor and a 727 A Torque flight A with a shift Kit the car screamed on down the road. Nice car you have! That last one helps. Tks.
I really like this body style.
Thank you. I rember seeing them in my youth on the street anð strip. Figured I had to have oneI really like this body style.
I have a Gal friend who has a 1967 Coronet RT original 440 Car I rebuilt the front end then replaced the fuel Tank had it aligned at Bear Frame & Wheel. When I returned her car she said she just sits in the Car does not drive it. She said her dad would drive her to JPL where he worked on the Apollo Missions to the Moon. This was some ten years ago. I stopped by her house and the car has flat tires and parked where she told me to park it but will not sell it. She has an attachment to the car riding in it with her dad.Very solid driving car!Thank you. I rember seeing them in my youth on the street anð strip. Figured I had to have one

Why on earth would you want to take out the Dana unless you wanted to get a better selection of gearing? My Charger has a Dana Rear End in the car. I thought about putting an 8-3/4 in I already built it
