You are right...I put down the wrong date.
I know it is 2 weeks...
I am participating in the Race. My car got selected by NHRA as one of the 75 cars they picked to run in the "EXHIBITION CLASS". I had to send them pixs, etc for the selection process.

Have you done any testing yet ?

If so what did she run ?, what were the incremental/all out ?
with out/before the throttle stop & after tuning ?

did you scale it ?
What is the bias frt/rear ?
what is the final weight ?
what HP/TQ ?

Details if you like, I forget what &/or who has what...LOL

refresh my memory, I'm not here much lately...

Good luck again, I hope you go rounds too...

Well guys......a miserable first outing with the new setup....
Went to a little 1/8th mile track north of Fresno. Crappy track with NO traction and dirt staging lanes...but I needed to get a read on the new setup.
Good News First.
1) After a complete rebuild of the front suspension & brakes & alignment...the car went straight with no shimmys or vibrations.
2) The car vibrated like a freight train just pulling up to the tech lanes....suspected an incorrect pinion angle and we put a 4 degree shim in and it now goes as smooth as butter.
3) No problems with the oil pressure and temperature (first outing on the new 505")...and checked the valve lash after 6 1/8th mile passes and valve lash remained perfect.
Now for the BAD NEWS1) The 1/8 mile times were 7.50 at 90-92 mph which equates to around 11.70 in the 1/4...WAY TOO SLOW my horsepower/torque figures at 3650 lb car...it should have run 6.80 or so which converts to around 10.70-10.80.
2) I can blame maybe .3 or .5 seconds from crappy to zero traction but not a full second (1/4 mile conversion).
3) I am convinced my 8 year old Mallory 150gph $330 fuel pump has seen better days and that could be the problem as my playback tach shows very eratic rpm movement from 5200 to 6200rpm...think it is starving for fuel...the pump also started "rattling" right after I turn it on. It rattles for 3-4 seconds...so I think it might be now defective.
4) I have ordered from Summit a new Fuel Pump and a Remote Fuel Pressure Gauge that I can mount on the cowl and see the fuel pressure as the car goes down the track.
5) It has to be my MSD box or the Fuel Pump as those are the only two things that werent hooked up on the Dyno Testing that showed 605HP and 580lbs of Torque.
I will find out next weekend at the ANRA Race at Famoso.

Was that Eagle field?

That's not a good spot to do some testing.

It will get better, just work the bugs out and you will get it cooking like you want. Was that with the exhaust also? That could be a big restriction also. The car looks Great!

Yes it will get better. You may be right on a fuel problem as you are down on power with the 90 to 92 mph in the 1/8. It should be pulling around 100 mph in the 1/8. Good luck next time out. Ron

Watching intently Mike. Keep the progress reports coming!

I hope you get her sorted out the next event...

Good luck, best wishes, go rounds...LOL
