Would like to meet you but no way will I sink this much money into a car and drive it through N.Y. City. Even though I may not need to go through N.Y. City to get to L.I. seems like I always miss a turn and end up there. Not that I'm saying they have bad drivers or anything. :puke:

Will end up meeting you at Marcus Dairy. Was up there a few weeks ago.Had to tow a Long Island Mopar club member back to the island.

Any new pics or updates Joe?

Well here are a few more pics. of progress. Hopefully I'll have it back for Christmas.:santa:

The door jambs have been sanded down to bare metal and primed. The door hinges have been rebuilt and sent out to be bead blasted and then will be primed and painted.

Looks like I'll be getting it back next week sometime. Ohhh Boy !

WOW!
It's looking really good Joe. It's going to look amazing with the gold interior.

A fawn colored interior would look good! That was an original SS color for that year. Are you going to be using the A100 seats? Looks like it was a race car at one time. Should be a real sweet ride!

This car was never raced. It will have a fawn colored interior (looks gold to me but then I'm bad with colors), with A100 seats and a console.

That is gonna be one saweeeet looking ride. I like the color combo your going with.

It's Back !!

Well it's about a year now since I bought this car. Now it's my turn to start putting the pieces back together.

Get ready for plenty of questions !

And while my car was away I gave my garage a makeover. New paint, heat, built a work bench and some cabinets.
Santa even thought I was a good boy and brought me a new compressor.

That paint looks reallllly nice Joe.
I think you garage might be nicer than the inside of my house ;)

Oh man, I bet you cant wait to get started stuffing parts back in. Your car is looking sharp!!

Question on door lock rod location

The body shop installed the door latch's on the car for transport. I think they put the rod for locking the locks in the wrong location. The hole seems way to big. There is a smaller round hole which I think they should be in but I'm not positive.

Anyone familiar with the early (64) b-bodies have a picture of the inside of a door without the inside panel installed, or know if this is right or wrong?

thanks,
Joe
