Anyone use the Passon performance slick shift synchro kit or know of any upgraded 4 speed parts . Looking to upgrade the stock stuff on my original 69 23 spline, without getting a full race trans built . Trans won't stay in gear now and is hard to shift at high rPm. I'm putting a new clutch in and figured I go through the trans while it's out
 
The slick shift kits are for the 18 spline gear box. I have an 18spline rebuilt with a passon slick shift kit installed. I decided to go with a 6.1 instead of the big block. Im debating on whether or not to run it or find a 5 or 6 speed. Hmmm decisions decisions.
 
you need a 18 spline or go home. I never had long term luck with my 23 splines back in the 70's in my 340 duster going 11.98

I have 90% of the parts to build a slick shift 18 spline box. All gears are new. PM if interested
