What's her sun visor say.... titliest?

happens for rea
Used to play golf; did for some 35 years. Can be a cruel game, ecstasy, and agony even on the same hole. If ya smack the ball pretty solid and it goes in the woods or water, that’s one thing. But, miss hit or shank is another. Can cause mental trauma. Been there, done it, and saw it as well. And can be a bitch to get out of it. Even if your partner or opponent does it, can affect your game. It’s said the game is 75% mental and can attest to it. Buddy who is a hi-90’s golfer had a hole-in-one. Next hole? He took an 11.

On a golf vacation in back in the 90’s with the big-boss, we were playing partners best ball. He liked to play for big money, and this game had carry-overs, despite him not being very good and a huge asshole. Dipshit questioned every shot: “What club ya gonna play?” “I got a six iron.” He said “You think it’s enough club; there’s water in front of the green.” “Okay, I’ll use a five.” MY error. Yep, hit the ball too far off the green in the back in heavy rough. We were playing 50-bucks a hole. About $45 more than I ever played. Well, later we had about a two-foot putt, squirrely breaking thing. The hole was for $200. I was tensed up as he reminded me about it more than once. I lipped it out. Then it was his turn to sink it and he missed it. So he thinks I’m da wimp. Yeah, felt like I was; but he got to watch my miss and still missed it. Took me a good while to get that out of my head.

NFL kicking is like golf; some kickers get shocked missing a normally makeable FG and it happens that they can have a tough time getting out of it. I can see why..

I have never made a hole in one....but I have 'chipped in' from over 100yds out several times. That is almost a hole in one (apart from the rules and all that crap... lol

Best prize ever from playing golf was in November 2019 .....played the second worst of the entire field, but got the critical (and most difficult) question correct in the Lucky Dip Quiz after the official prize-giving. Biggest prize they handed out ....

Obviously, I was so crap at the golf, a new bag for my clubs wasn't going to help.

A couple of my playing group that day....

never made a hole in one....
Never had a hole-in-one, never witnessed one; wasn’t playing with my friend when he got his. So close a few times and my handi-cap was 14 lower than his. As it’s likely I won’t play anymore, would a been nice to say I had one. Same deal bowling for years, best average was 199 – not 200, 10 pins were my nemesis. One strike shy of a 300 game three times in my playing days. Not to be. Lol, when I started ‘thinking’ too much I became my worst enemy.

Never had a hole-in-one, never witnessed one;
I witnessed one on a Par 3 at my local course - the group in front of us. On the same hole, I pitched within about 6 feet of the pin.......and made par.

She's cute. She likely doesn't realize how pretty she is. LOL
Lol, she is NOT going to deal well with aging – nothing prettier than a pretty young lady…and nothing uglier than an old one. I’m not immune; yesterday at the doc’s office I saw my profile in a mirror thinking there must be something wrong with the mirror; nope mirror was fine.

Paige Renee Spiranac
a few ditties of information

she does have nice set-up, form/swing positioning

I'm not complaining

for those who look beyond the beautiful scantily dressed/posed lady :poke:

She's 30 now, 5'7"
(no measurements sorry, I'm sure you could find them)
Born in 1993, Wheat Ridge Co., to 2 athlete parents
She lives in/goes between Scottsdale Az & Monument Co.
(I saw a bunch of photos with the same guy, I assume her husband)

2016 She didn't do too well in the LPGA,
she did not earn her card, tour school

She did well as a Jr. golfer,
she won a few, something like 5 of 7 events entered,
she was a top 20 Jr. player

She went to Univ. of Arizona, Wildcats 2011-2012 Pac-12
only in her freshman year
only played in 3 events, no wins, but her best score of 73, used twice

She transferred to San Diego State, Aztecs
she became a 2012-2013 1st team All-American with Mountian West Conf.
(they play 6 people, per tourn. & they only use 4 of their scores, in tournaments,
may not have been her scores
) they only use the 4 best scores, each round...
Junior year 2nd team All-American MWC
her senior year they were conference champs,
1st time in school history (didn't say much about her contributions)

2015 she did play in the Cactus tour, Mini-Tour, she has 1 win
(Cactus Tour prof. golf ladies minor league (c-league) 'sort of', not much $$$)

2020 she started a podcast "playing-around-with Paige Renee"

She's known for more of a model, influencer, red carpet celebrity (of sorts)
Sometimes spokesperson, more than a real serious golfer
she does seem to do well at exploiting "her very voluptuous stature"
she's been criticized for "sexualizing women's golf" :thankyou: (no problem here)
she certainly does like being in front of a camera, and staged photos...
Just not while actually playing the sport of golf...

for anyone who cares
Having raised 4 girls, that all played golf, I was curious...

Having played and studied mechanics (I think to a degree than wasn’t beneficial for me) she sure has a classic swing. Thing I noticed about good players, is the swing plane formed by the left arm drawing a line to the ball at the top of the swing. At or near the ball. Ahh, she’s sure flexible given her shoulder turn and her hands are what pro’s look like, non-cupped left wrist, club parallel to ground. It’s hard to accomplish this hand setup, at least it was for me. Powerful legs hey, wow, and wound up nicely. Only thing I wonder having been perhaps a detriment is her ahh, large chest. I did see a vid of her swing somewhere and her follow through looked difficult. Oh well, JMO from a guy who’s best handi-cap was 11…one year when I had a nice job playing frequently entertaining clients. I made the mistake of taking a promotion.
My oh my – she’s an 11 on a 1-10 scale..
