Foreigner to be inducted into the Rockin Roll Hall of Fame = FINALLY

Congratulations to them, but what about these and many others?

Gregg Allman
Joe Cocker
Roger Daltrey
America
Bachman Turner Overdrive
Badfinger
Blind Faith
Blood, Sweat & Tears
Blue Oyster Cult
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
The Fabulous Thunderbirds

I am happy to report I have never watched the HOF show.

Anyway, what is their definition of rock and roll?

"Waiting for a Girl Like You" is one of the best songs of all-time, in my view. With all their great hits and albums, I would've thought they'd be in a LONG TIME AGO.

Imagine you are Foreigner, rocking since 1976, millions and records sold, and rapper Missy Elliot who was 5 when you formed your band gets inducted before you! A pretty bitter pill if you ask me, but I'm sure they will be forced to be gracious when they get their turn to speak.

As stated, the R&R HOF has been a joke for a long time.... looong time. Since they started inducting that $hit, it's gone into the toilet.

Greg Allman plus the rest of the band were inducted in 1995, The WHO and Daltrey in 1990.
I bet you can't be inducted twice for a solo career ect.
You made me look, lol.

Took forever ,My brother in-law and sister met Lou a couple times, hes a good guy. I seen them twice at the War Memorial in Rochester.

I was speaking in terms of a solo artist in their own right, not as a member of a group.

Maybe I'm behind the times.

The War Memorial - classic arena name!

@Don Frelier It's about time, isn't it? Mick Jones was less than kind to Lou Gramm over the years.
Their first three albums were their best - when they had more talented musicians and not just a bunch of "yes" men to Mick Jones. That said, I do like his playing on those first three!

I like all their first 6 albums. But yes the first 2 in particular had a harder tone.
But some of the later ones really featured Lou's voice.

That's a pretty abbreviately list... RnR HOF is a joke... Both in who they have inducted as well as who they haven't...
Congrats to the guys from Foreigner just the same... They deserve to be in a Real RnR HOF...
