Found another one.

Youre a good man! God bless

There are 2 small packs of feral dogs that roam around my area. They are fairly large Labsize and very wary of humans. Ive seen the same animals for 3 years now. I determined they dont pose any danger to humans or pets because Ive seen them interact w my dogs and it was friendly. Im guessing the poor critters were pets who were abandoned. Anyway I would save them if I could but they are too wise to be caught so I must leave them to their fate. There is a fair amount of roadkill and livestock casualties to sustain them, however this winter has been brutal & I havent seen them since December. :(
Let's hope they're ok and as soon as the weather allows you, please try to find them and check if they are well and alive if you can.

you did the right thing & a great thing

very cool

You are a good man....I wish you were closer I would take one.....

I was in Mexico one time coming back from a volunteer stint at an orphanage. We stopped by the side of the road to pick up a litter of puppies that someone had left there. We hid them under blankets sneaking them over the border. By the time we reached the O.C. After making several stops we had given all the puppies to caring folks that wanted one to take home.

Full disclosure: It was the idea of one of the ladies in our group to stop and it was her kindness and creativity that saved all those poor puppies and doled them out to other caring folks. It really wasn’t my idea but I got to see a wonderful gifted person in action.

A lot of soulless ( pendejos) people do that here in Mexico, enrage me when this :cursin: do that, and even worst, the drivers on the road prefer not to slow down the speed and run over this poor dogs, that's why i do this, to save them, it's not their fault to be on the street, is our fault as a society, i wish i can do more but i can't...

I feel for you. We have a house of rescue cats. Found cats, pound cats, horribly abused cats. There’s quite a few feral cats around. A few weeks ago one showed up in the yard. Looked like it had probably fallen asleep on a warm car engine and been torn up by the fan when the engine was started. One back leg was drawn up under it, and where the foot was supposed to be looked like the end of a chicken drumstick. Anyway...
I bought a live trap and put it in the yard. Caught all of my neighbors cats, until one morning...
This cat was in the trap, and most unhappy about it. I had to put a thick leather glove on, just to move the trap. This thing was hard as a rock, I mean SOLID. And angry as a nest of wasps on a hot day. Wife and I moved it to the garage with the Super Bee, and gingerly set it loose. It took off like a shot, and hid in the far corner of my shop. I left a bowl of food and water and a cat box, and retreated to the house. The next morning I open the shop door and the overpowering stench of urine pours out. Food dish is empty, water bowl is empty, cat box is full of sh!t, and there’s a puddle of foul smelling pee under my bench. I refill the bowls, mop the pee, and see a pair of eyes watching me with suspicion. Every day I repeat this drill, the only thing that changes is where it pees. Always somewhere different, always on something. Tools. Clothes. Tarps. Extension cords. Everything. Not spraying like some do to mark territory, but full bladder loads of urine. I put out another cat box, thinking it may pee in one, sh!t in another as some do. It rewards me by peeing in a box of antique magazines I had been saving for the beautiful covers, and crapping in both boxes. At no time had we ever even seen the cat, and only knew what it looked like by putting a game camera in the shop. If we passed by the shop we would see it sitting on the window ledge, wistfully watching the world. As soon as you made eye contact it would vanish. It tore the window frame up trying to escape.
I finally had to concede defeat. This cat was so unhappy. It just wanted to be free. I left the door open for it one afternoon. They say if you love something set it free. It was gone in a flash. We’ve seen it around the neighbourhood a few times. Summers here are very mild. I’ll set the trap again in the fall when it starts getting cold. If it wants to spend the winter where it’s safe and warm it’s welcome to stay here. If it’s happier living free, that’s OK too.
Anyway, where I’m going with this story is this: you and l can’t save them all. But if we can save even a few, that’s fantastic. I’m not giving up, not on this one, not on the next one. Good on you for trying. May God bless you, my friend.

I agree it's not their fault, it's our fault.

The last feral from our neighborhood I had spayed was like the Tasmanian Devil.

Pulled a full size beach towel completely through the 1/4" mesh of the trap!

At least she won't be having kittens anymore.

Well here I go again, turns out that these striped beige one, now answer to the name of "gorda" and guess what guy's? yeap, she was pregnant, after I talk to the manager of the condo were I live and some other guys we decided to adopt her, well now after a few months here's the story.

A lot of family's in my condo agree to keep her here, even knowing that she was pregnant, the gatekeepers feed her, gave her shelter in the little office at the entrance, pet her, and in return she's the guardian angel at night for them, bark to the strangers in the night, to other dogs, she's quiet lovely and helpful to the families here, so far so good, one of the doormen and me became friends over her, I always ask him if she have food or anything she needs, and I gave him money to go and get the stuff she needs, and we agree to keep an eye on her to check the place she chose to gave birth.

At the beginning of October, she was almost done, then on the 3rd she suddenly got lost and came back without the pregnancy belly, we were really freaking out because we didn't know where the puppies were, so finally we found the stack of puppies, she have 12 and four died so we have 8 little Angels ( 6 female 2 Male ) to watch over, of course every body tip in AT THE BEGINNING, bring her food good food, some neighbors complain but no problem, four families volunteer to adopt one puppy, now, I know this are half breed puppy's, am aware of that, after 1/2 months turns out nobody want a puppy anymore, but I was afraid this could happen, so I have a back up plan just in case, even the next door neighbor who have to put down his dog due age ask him why don't you adopt one, here's the conversation:

-- Me
Hey Cesar how are you?
-- Cesar
Fine and you?
--Me
Am cool, hey man why don't you adopt one puppy they are lovely.
-- Cesar
Do they have pedigree?
--Me
Noup but neither are you, but if you want I can buy you a bag if you want and you're good to go
this is the bag am talking about

Ps. gorda is scheduled December 14 for surgery, we don't need more unwanted puppies. 20191106_174140.jpg 20191106_174138.jpg 20191106_174153.jpg 20191109_092405.jpg 20191109_092357.jpg 20191109_092645.jpg 20191109_092641.jpg 20191109_092659.jpg 20191109_092650.jpg
