Friday night Tunes

I tend to like stuff in the gray area between the two, although I can go pretty far to both ends depending on who it is.

my taste is eclectic at best...LOL...

Here's what's in my car right now:

Judas Priest compliation 76-79- the 76 and 77 material is "gothic, progressive blues" and NOT metal as we know it....although it's the seeds for nearly the entire post 60's metal genre.

Thin Lizzy compilation- like your blues licks hard and with a dose of funk? Warrior (from the same album as "The Boys", and "Jailbreak". Wanna know where Iron Maiden got their influence? Emerald.

Southern Culture On The Skids Dirt Track Date- hey, a boy's gotta laugh, and most of it is well written. CCR meets the B52s?

Pantera Cowboys From Hell- the heaviest in there right now. One of the most UNDER RATED guitarists in history!

Journey compliation- Hey, it's Neil Schon.

I'm 53 & a product of the 70's "class of 77' baby"... I like some Judas Priest , some Thin Lizzy, not a big Iron Madden fan, but like a couple of there songs, I listened to allot of Journey in the Late 70's, never heard of Emerald.... hell the Lenard Skynard, Ted Nugent, Cream, Supremes, Aerosmyth, Beach Boys, Eagles, Booker T & the MG's, some Ozzie stuff, Alice Cooper, Marvin Gaye, Temptations, AC/DC, Deaf Leopard, Bob Seger, Credence Clear Water, Kiss, Muddy Waters, Molly Hatchet, Elvis, Allman Brothers, Nazareth plus many more, are some of my favorites, not to mention all the Country & Western bands I like too... Good music....LOL...Eclectic at best, even some of the "Big Hair" bands of the 80's & 90's...LOL... Anything but cRap, Hell they would play the Tone Lok's Version of "Wild Thang" when I would pull my AA/Altered into the water box at races, I came to love that version too...

Enough talk! Post something up!

Here's my favorite "Five Finger Death Punches remake of Bad Company". It's got a little more punch than the original, love it. Thanks for the help with figuring it out, worked first time. Awesome video, the band hangin out and playing for the troops.

There's allot of good music listed, I love CCR and Queenryche. I like allot of the oldies (The Temptations, Rascals, Spencer Davis Group, CCR, Chuck Berry, Nancy Sanatra, etc), I grew up in the eighties so I like allot of the hair bands (Bon Jovi, Poison, Def Leppord, Quiet Riot, Warrant, Metallica, Rat, Cinderella, ZZ Top, etc) and then of coarse I love to rock out in the garage to some heavier stuff (Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Metallica, Mudvane, Hellyeah, Slipknot, etc). "No country" that stuff depresses the hell out me and rap and hip hop "well" it isn't even music.
