Fuel problems when hot

When I rebuilt engine 3 years ago I actually checked the old balancer TDC mark whilst degreeing cam. It was spot on.

Last year when adjusting timing, the timing mark appeared way off and I checked again and found the balancer had slipped since the rebuild.

So then I fitted a new Powerbond street/strip balancer. I will make myself a new piston stop and double check the TDC mark to rule this out.

Yes we have very similar set ups Bill - my cam is a Lunati Voodoo - Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 226/234

I will be putting a thermometer on my engine soon...

I wouldn't use it in a carburetor car, so AFAIK, 0%.

We do have stations that sell ethanol blends at up to 10%, however it is required to be stated clearly on the pump.

A vacuum leak would make it run lean and overheat ?

A member here suggested this stuff concerning fuel problems, [Sorry can't remember who it was]
But I tried it and Damned if it didn't make my car run a whole lot better.. I'm in California and we have 10% Ethanol in our gas. I was having issues of the fuel boiling out of the bowls ,
