Looking to replace fuel system on my 1972 Coronet 318 2 barrel carb. New tank and lines. Want to upgrade to 3/8. line from tank to fuel pump and from fuel pump to carb. The plan is to give the engine more power. I need to do fuel system first. Are the line ends the same on the 5/16 lines and the 3/8 lines where thery connect to fuel pump and carb. Since the engine will have to wait a while for more power

they will be different size but easy fix is just get a ( AN ) reducer for the pump side and for the fuel tank side go the bigger fuel sender unit

Plan your system for where you want to end up.You can NEVER have too big a fuel pump when using a regulator and maybe a return line.

I've got this feeling that you look at threads and think "hmmm.... where can I throw a picture of my badass ride at" :thinker:

at least that's what I'd do if I had your car :headbang:

Unless you plan to make a lot of HP I'd save yourself the trouble and just replace the 5/16" line if the original is damaged. If no damage then leave it there.

I'm with Meep-Meep, you can run quite a bit of hp with 5/16 line. Spend your money on go fast stuff :jerk: til you need more fuel.

Since it's my only old car, what else would I have pictures of??
My opinions might not always be right,,,,,,,,,but they're mine.:icon_kidra:

Hay if I had it I'd be throwin it up everywhere too.

showoff. lol
