Gearing

So I'm trying to figure out what gearing I have in my 67 RT. I always thought they were 3.23's however I'm no longer sure. I have 25" tires and on the highway at 60 mph my tach reads about 2950. To me this looks like it has 3.55's. By the way I'm running a 727 transmission with a stock torque converter.

So without lifting the car, rotating the wheel and counting how many times the drive shaft turns, does it sound like I have 3.55's?

That's what I show on my tach with 295/50/15s & 3.55s.

Did you verify that your speedo is accurate with a gps?

I'd guess 3.55's as well. Like H2E mentioned, have you confirmed an accurate MPH on your speedometer?
