Golden Goddess heart surgery

Your 1.125 mc will be just fine with a booster and front discs with rear drums. You’ll need to use that distribution/combination valve that came the setup you’ve got.

You should give me a buzz and I’ll come over and help with this.

So I go on vacation for a week and you don't get anything done?!?!?

No, I tried changing the distribution block, but I’ve been battling a break line that won’t stop leaking, so I don’t really have anything to report

His lines are stainless, and I think the line that’s leaking has some “trash” on the double flare which is causing it not to seat properly and therefore leaking.

Oh I’ve spent the last 2 weeks? Taking the line off, cleaning it, putting it back on, taking it off putting it back on, taking it off putting it back on, taking it off putting it back on……..

Current plan is to take the line off, go to Oreillys and get a steel line, because Im getting no where with this line

If it's this style, that may be the problem. I have a Blue Point unit I bought back in the 70's. Always have had sealing issues with it. What happens as I discovered later on is that once you've tightened the unit up and did the flares, part of the tube would pooch out between the seams of the unit. Those pooched out portions keep the nut from cinching up fully around the flare as it's sitting only on the two pooched out spots. I found that if you dress those two areas down with a file after flaring it takes care of it.

It’s all inline tube stuff, I didn’t flair anything
Theoretically "should" be fine then. Unless something was off on their end. Where the flare nut seats into the fittings, look for rings/dented in areas on the seats.

Well I’ll be dipped, it was the dang brake light switch:BangHead:.

I’ll try bleeding them tomorrow and then we’ll have to see if the brakes are better

My brother is dyslexic and has a few other learning disabilities. The school told him every day he’d never graduate, and don’t even bother college, kicked him to the curb. Well the welding instructor was awesome and took him under his wing, he went to crossplains got an associates degree in welding and a f you to weatherford high school. Well they were coming to visit this weekend and I asked if he could weld stiffening plates to the lower control arms, wasn’t expecting him to bring the big boy welder lol

Lazy teachers, lazy schools. It would be poetic if he makes more in a year compared to who said he wouldn't amount to anything.

Alright, I have not been slacking, I’ve been fighting BS. That distribution block is completely garbage, it just leaks. @5.7 hemi has been very helpful (and patient) after talking with him I decided to ditch the factory block and go with this, it even bolts to the master cylinder, which is amazing, because I’m tired of swimming in brake fluid, and working in the extremely tight spot, thanks zack!….now I just have to rebuild the lines:lol:

I did something similar using a Summit adjustable proportioning valve.
