With all due respect Paladin, regardless of how much HP you push, or your driving habits.......total dust within a year. Putting that in a B-Body is like wiping your @ss with a film of water on your hand. I'm no expert but I have smoked my share of clutches.
FWIW, my Keisler SS700 trans came with a Sachs #BBC1877 pressure plate. I'm not sure what the clutch part numbers was, or if it was even Sachs brand, but it has been holding fine (only 500 miles on it though?)
Myself I like RAM products. You can talor it to your needs and thay make very tuff parts. When I raced a 4 speed we ran Schaffer and then went to ram. In the clutch world you only get what you pay for !
Although Sachs makes clutches that are quite good, I'm sure there are many levels of quality. $127 doesn't get you much these days. Personally when I had my 68 Road Runner it got a cheap clutch every 3-6 months. My Challenger has a Center-Force Dual Friction. The car has 10,000 hard miles, 100 dragstrip passes with slicks (12.50@110). It's had one adjustment, never chattered, slipped. $300 most suppliers. Best clutch I've ever owned.
