Got my 440 installed

Your car is gorgeous and your attention to detail amazing: I can only hope my project comes out half as nice. Truly an inspiration!

Wow, I just checked out your build you posted on another thread. Thanks for the compliment but this project isn’t taking a tenth of the bravery yours is! That Fury is going to be something else, get back on it!

Thanks for the encouragement, I need it!
This week we'll be getting the new work space organized, then I'll be getting the floor pans aligned for installation, though I'm going to hold off installing them permanently until after the new front clip/frame rails are installed.

I'm curious as to where you had your body trim refurbished; mind sharing your source(s)?

Ah, the trim. When I bought my car I had all the parts shipped to me on pallets. One had all the trim on it and a lot of it got destroyed in transit. Another pallet had two crankshafts on it which got loose, so some bird brain along the way tossed them on top of the trim and strapped it down. Needless to say that sucked.

But I was lucky to find good trim to replace the ruined stuff, and the side trim was temporarily attached to the body for shipping thank god. I tapped out a few little dings and polished them up myself. It all turned out pretty good, but if you look closely you can see it’s not professionally and perfectly done for a 100 point show car. I am still looking for drip rail moldings since these got damaged and I did the best I could. Might have a shop look at those for me.

This place seems good and they were very willing to try fixing some of my smashed pieces http://www.kingoftrim.com. My advice would be to find somewhere somewhat local that you can bring the trim in and have them assess it with you and give you a price.
