Place the grease gun in her refrigerator.

A colleague of mine put some paint rollers and brushes in the fridge (wrapped tightly in plastic bags) at work after we did some painting.

The beer fridge.


However, that trick only works if you are using acrylic paint....not oil based paint.

It ruined the fridge.....stunk like paint forever.

I've kept mine on a cookie sheet for many years after dealing with the mess. I also have an old sock around each one.

I was going to get one of the ones from Summit, but the shipping to Canada was more than the holder and I couldn't cross the border during the "pandemic". Some PVC fittings and spray paint came through.
