I have headers on my car now, but the passenger side actually rests on the shock tower. I don’t like that. I see a lot about TTI headers. Which part number is the correct one? I would probably want the ceramic
That's a good idea om them wedgies!!I would like to add that I do use heat resistant spark plug sleeves on my header equipped engines for extra insurance.

Mike, that’s a very good question. Coincidentally, I noticed that the oil pan is nearly resting on the suspension. Scrape marks on the oil pan. I ordered new motor mounts just n case that’s the problemAre your motor mounts good/set correctly? I really like my Dougs headers-nickel plated.

One of The videos I was referring tooTake a hammer to them and get the clearance you need. On an episode of engine masters Freiburger and Dulcich absolutely mauled a set of long tubes and the horsepower was utterly unaffected until they'd basically dented in every tube halfway shut....and even then the engine barely cared.
if you get doug's headers , have a big hammer and heavy pipe to pound on them. they hit steering box, mini-starter, steering shaft coupling and torsion bar , so far!Are your motor mounts good/set correctly? I really like my Dougs headers-nickel plated.

Mine fit perfectly. Maybe you got a set built on Monday/Friday?if you get doug's headers , have a big hammer and heavy pipe to pound on them. they hit steering box, mini-starter, steering shaft coupling and torsion bar , so far!

I suggest visiting tti online....I put tti 1 7/8” polished, ceramic coated, thermal barrier headers on my 65 Coronet , they fit like a glove! Remember, MOPAR is all they do, and they got all figured out...I also went with tti 3” pipes all the way back, including the “X” pipe....very nice stuffI have headers on my car now, but the passenger side actually rests on the shock tower. Typo.....yup, 1 7/8”2 7/8? That is HUGE!
