How to obtain a VIN number

If it were me, I would search the car for a VIN, like rad support, trunk, etc then pay for a VIN search to see if it was stolen. I'm assuming there is no fender tag?

66 doesn't have VIN on tag, and body stampings are the SO number, not the VIN.

That in it's self is kind of an issue when applying for a new title, even if you have all the other info, as most state forms want the VIN from two places on the car.

Did I mention that Ohio is notoriously strict with motor vehicle laws?

There are some states that are notoriously lenient-
GA, AL, ME come to mind...

...and some that notoriously strict-
CA, NY, MA and OH among others fall into that category.

Hey Hey watch it there, that's hitting below the belt. We're far from liberal around here, we just get beat out in the elections from time to time by our liberal mooching city slickers.
