I believe so, let me look at it again. I haven’t even installed mine yet it’s sitting on my tool cart lol

Here are the features of the different models. The power after ( PA ) gives you laptop tuning as well, I think it's the same price. Also controlled 2 fans if you have it..

Snake - Looks like you’d have to change out the distributor to have the fitech control the timing

I figured htat so i think i might get an accel distributor which gives a reference point

I don’t think I’m going to use the timing control on mine, unless I decide to spray off the line then ill hook up nitrous and timing control.

I use an MSD Pro Billet distributor, locked out, with my dual Fitech throttle bodies on a crossram manifold. It's really neat to be able to alter the A/F ratio and timing on the fly.

So guys for a street hemi 472 automatic 10:1 with medium lopy cam do i need to switch out to a hi vacuume cam??? Does fitech take a refrence if i do get a accel distributor with its sensor and built in reluctor for timingposition?? I am not racing this car its a Thursday night car club car!

I am considering efi later on this year. I was wondering what made you go with FItech? I have been looking at all of the different brands and not really gravitating towards any one particular.

Matter, I would go with a msd pro billet and msd box, it’s known to work I don’t know anything about the accel stuff. They reference msd in all their paperwork

Yeah I thought so too. But their tech said while it's not ideal, should be fine. I figure if it's a no go, ill just hurry up and do the exhaust this winter and just plug that hole.

Yeah it can control spark. Pretty slick unit. Any 2 wire dizzy can be used, just lock out the advance. I'm not going that route yet but probably will this winter.

It can even control timing and still use a 6AL box, or just eliminate the 6AL and the throttle body acts as it's own traditional electronic ignition.

I definitely plan to keep my 6AL - but for tuning purposes, I like the idea of tweaking timing curves directly instead of screwing with weights and springs. Just like I like the idea of modifying the AF ratio tables instead of jets, power valves etc. just me.
